Dave and I started planning this trip soon after our first visit to Sicily. We did not spend enough time on the Island and decided to go back. We land in Rome on the morning of the 15th and head straight to Palermo. There we will spend 3 nights in an apartment before going to Siracusa. We are spending 3 nights there, on the Island off the Island. After that we have 1 night close to Taormina before we head to Catania. We cross over the Straights Of Messina via ferry – a short ride. And then we will drive up the coast until we get to Maratea. Known for its black beaches we are planning on spending a week there. But who knows ….
We leave Rome on the 29th – late at night and get back home on the Sunday. Follow along to see what we get up to each day 🙂
